What it is

More than a rough patch.
It's treatable.

Depression and mood disorders go beyond feeling sad or having a bad week. They're medical conditions that affect how your brain regulates mood, energy, sleep, and motivation, and they can show up gradually or all at once. The good news: they respond well to the right combination of evaluation, medication management, and ongoing support.

Why it matters

This isn't a character flaw.
It's a health condition.

Depression doesn't mean you're weak, dramatic, or failing to try hard enough. It's one of the most common health conditions there is, and like any other, it responds to care.

01

1 in 5 adults will experience a depressive episode

At some point in their life. Needing support isn't rare, and it isn't a weakness. It's basic healthcare.

02

It touches more than mood

Depression can affect sleep, appetite, focus, and relationships, and is linked to higher risk for conditions like heart disease and diabetes.

03

Earlier is easier

Depression tends to get harder to treat the longer it goes unaddressed. The sooner you start, the sooner things can shift.

How we help

Care built around
the full picture.

Depression rarely shows up on its own. Our approach treats the whole person, not just a symptom checklist.

Comprehensive evaluation

Your first visit is a real conversation about your history, symptoms, and goals, not a ten-minute checklist.

Thoughtful medication management

If medication is part of your plan, we monitor and adjust it together, with regular check-ins along the way.

Whole-person care

Because our providers are dual-certified in mental health and chronic illness, your depression and your diabetes, thyroid, or heart health can be addressed by the same clinician.

The same provider, every visit

You'll see the same clinician each time. They know your history, your medications, and what's actually working.

What we treat

Mood care that sees
the rest of you, too.

Depression often shows up alongside other conditions. Because our providers are dual-certified, both can be treated in the same place.

What we don't treat

Active psychosis, suicidal ideation, and substance use disorders require a higher level of in-person care than we can safely provide by telehealth. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.

Continuity of care

The same provider,
every time you log in.

You won't retell your story to a new face every visit. You'll be matched with a dual board-certified provider who gets to know your history, your medications, and what's actually helping, and who stays with you as your care evolves.

Common questions

Before you
book your visit.

What happens during my first visit?
Your first appointment is a comprehensive evaluation done entirely by video. Your provider will review your history, ask about what's been going on, and start building a care plan with you. There's no obligation and no pressure, just a conversation.
Will I need medication?
Not necessarily. Medication is one option, not the default. Your provider will talk through what's likely to help based on your symptoms, history, and preferences, and you'll decide together.
Do you accept my insurance?
We work with most major insurers across the states we serve. Share your plan during your free consult and we'll confirm your coverage before your first visit. Self-pay is always welcome too.
How soon will I start feeling better?
It varies. Some people notice small shifts within a few weeks, others take longer, especially if medication needs adjusting. What matters most is that you're not doing it alone, and your provider will be checking in with you the whole way.
What if I need more support than telehealth can offer?
If your provider determines you need a higher level of care, such as for active psychosis, suicidal ideation, or substance use, they'll help connect you to appropriate in-person resources. If you're in crisis right now, call or text 988 or go to your nearest emergency room.
