Scope of Services & Limitations of Care
Mindful Ease Psychiatry & Wellness provides outpatient tele-psychiatry services intended for individuals who are clinically appropriate for non-emergent, virtual mental health treatment. We do not provide emergency services or higher levels of psychiatric care. By engaging in our services, patients acknowledge and agree that telehealth may not be appropriate for all conditions or clinical situations. Patients presenting with the listed conditions—or who develop these conditions during the course of treatment—may be referred to a higher level of care, including in-person psychiatric services, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization programs (PHP), or emergency services.

Scope of care

What we don't treat

We are an outpatient telehealth practice. Some conditions require a higher level of in-person care than we can safely provide via telehealth.

01
Active psychosis
Acute psychotic episodes or schizophrenia spectrum disorders requiring intensive or in-person management.
02
Suicidal or homicidal ideation
Active suicidal or homicidal ideation, or individuals at imminent risk of harm to self or others.
03
Substance use disorders
Substance use disorders with risk of acute withdrawal requiring medically supervised detoxification.
If you are in crisis, help is available right now.
You do not have to wait. If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health emergency, please reach out immediately. These resources are free, confidential, and available 24/7.
Or go to your nearest emergency room. Patients who develop these conditions during treatment will be referred to the appropriate level of in-person care.

How it works

Starting care,
made simple.

No referral required. No in-person visit. Three steps from today to your first appointment.

01

Reach out

Book a free 10-minute consult. Tell us what you are dealing with and which state you are in. We will confirm your insurance and match you with a provider.

02

Meet your provider

Your first visit is a comprehensive evaluation, done entirely by video. Your provider reviews your history, listens carefully, and begins building your care plan.

03

Begin your care plan

Together you build a plan that fits your life. Medication management, follow-up visits, and ongoing adjustments as your needs change over time.

This is a virtual practice. We do not provide emergency psychiatric services. If you or someone you know is in crisis, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or go to your nearest emergency room.
